Innisfil, Ontario – Milton, Ontario’s Eric Yorke did not look back after starting on pole as he led flag-to-flag en route to winning the Spring Velocity at Sunset Speedway.

Yorke started off his weekend strong, winning his first heat with a third in the second. As a result, he was one of three drivers with the best average on the afternoon.

The re-draw then went in his favor as he’d pull the top spot, allowing him to start the 35-lap feature from the pole. Right from the get go, he was strong and pulled out to a healthy lead over the field. Despite Will Gibbons being able to close the gap at times, Yorke continued to lay down solid laps and find his way through the lap traffic over the entire distance.

With 1.473 seconds on Gibbons, he’d cross the finish line in first to take the victory.

Yorke and DY Racing are proud to be supported by Can-Alignment Motorsports, Solex Steel, Partimer Signs, Skytec Rentals, Budget Tire, Scentsy Consultant – Lisa DeLeeuw, and Cabral Racing Promotions.
