Denver, Colorado - WC Vision announced today that Motul has extended its partnership with Pirelli World Challenge as the Official Lubricant of the series. The extension runs through the 2017 season.

Motul has been the Official Lubricant of the series since 2012. The company specializes in high-tech lubricants and offers a wide range of products geared to all types of use from car and motorcycle engines, brake fluids, to the latest generation of super clean diesel engines.

As part of the continued partnership, a number of special Motul branded segments will continue in each 2015 broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The Motul Pole Award will spotlight the drivers who have set the fastest qualifying laps in GT, GT Cup, GTS, Touring Car, Touring Car A and Touring Car B-Spec classes and who sit on the pole for the start of each Pirelli World Challenge race.

"Motul USA is very proud to announce the renewal of our three-year partnership with the Pirelli World Challenge as the Official Lubricant of the series," said Dave Wolman, President, Motul USA. "The Pirelli World Challenge is an excellent professional road racing series, racing at the finest road courses in North America. It is the ultimate testing platform for our racing line of lubricants and will add exceptional exposure to the motorsports enthusiast market for Motul."

"Motul has been the chosen line of lubricants by our race teams for a number of years now and they are a natural choice for the demands our race cars present," said Greg Gill, WC Vision's General Manager and VP, Marketing and Communications. "The Pirelli World Challenge is pleased to continue the partnership with Motul as the Official Lubricant for the series."

Unanimously recognized for more than 160 years for the quality of its products, innovation capacity and involvement in the field of competition, Motul is also recognized as the specialist in synthetic lubricants. All along the years, Motul has gained experience as an official supplier to many racing teams and manufacturers and contributes with them to further technological development in motorsports. Motul is supporting those teams in international competitions such as the Pirelli World Challenge, 24 Hours of Le Mans, FIA GT1 World Championship, Formula Nippon, Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, Super GT, Dakar, IRC, Drift, Pikes Peak, MotoGP, World Superbike, World MX, Endurance, Superbike, Supercross, IOM TT, Rallycross, F1 Boat and scores of others.
