Onroak Automotive expands commitment to North American market

Indianapolis, Indiana – Continuing to grow its commitment to serving the North American market, Everspeed group announced on Friday the establishment of an office for HP Composites in Denver, North Carolina. The Everspeed group is comprised of 12 companies that provide a range of products and services in the automotive and motorsports sectors, including HP Composites and Onroak Automotive. The announcement comes following a banner first year for HP Composites in North America, doing well over $1,000,000 in business working with multiple OEMs and racecar manufacturers.

HP Composites is a premiere producer of carbon fiber and composite components for Motorsport, Series Production and the Industrial and Aerospace sectors. Employing over 250 people, HP Composites is headquartered in Ascoli Piceno on the east coast of Italy. The new HP Composites office in Denver, NC will maintain a dedicated design department for North American products and services and will continue to expand its capabilities in the future.

Onroak Automotive designs and produces championship winning sports prototype racecars under the Ligier and Morgan brands, and formula cars under the Crawford brand. Onroak Automotive recently acquired Crawford Motorsport and moved to its new 25,000 square-foot facility in Denver, NC. This shop serves as the base of operations to support customers across multiple racings series, including IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar, IMSA Prototype Challenge presented by Mazda, and F4 United States competition.

The addition of HP Composites to the North American compound will bolster the already established operations for the group which has seen rapid growth in the market built on the remarkable success of customers utilizing Ligier sportscars, including victories in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and Petit Le Mans this year.

Beyond providing capable products, Onroak Automotive is providing new levels of customer service to support their racing machines. For 2017, specialist engineers and mechanics from Onroak Automotive will support the F4 United States championship and every IMSA Championship event for LMP2 and DPi along with all of the events of the new IMSA Prototype Challenge presented by Mazda for LMP3. That commitment to customer support includes dedicated parts and supply trailers that will be on site for every event during the 2017 season.

Meeting with the media and industry contacts at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Indianapolis were Max Crawford, General Manager, Onroak Automotive North America, Abramo Levato, General Manager, HP Composites and Ethan Bregman, North American Market Manager, Onroak Automotive.
