Ed Crozier - First Time Senior Fun Feature Winner.

Thorold, Ontario – Merrittville Speedway’s 13th Kart Night of 2016 proved to be lucky for a first time winner Wednesday July 27th.

A rookie – Ed Crozier won his first ever Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun 20 lap Feature.

Taking home his second win of the season was Joey Priestley in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division. Winning his third straight and sixth of the season was Nigel Pendykoski in the Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Division. Visiting Victory Lane for the 4th time of the season was Logan Illiffe in the RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Division.

In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action, Jackson Maytum won his 7th Feature in the Tim Phillips Garage St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Novice 2 Division while Dalton Slack won for the 8th time in the Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Division.

Travis Majuery continues to lead all drivers after winning his 10th Feature in the Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Division.

Kart Racing once again returns Wednesday August 3rd. Pits Open at 5:30 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
