Continuing to help develop the next generation of racers, and provide some fun competitive excitement for the whole family, the Waterloo Regional Kart Club has released their schedule for the 2020 season.

WRKC is all about creating an exciting sport of 4-cycle Kart Racing for the entire family in a safe and fun environment, racing on the go-kart track located in the infield of Flamboro Speedway. Through a combination of sponsorship and their dedicated team of volunteers, they strive to offer their members an affordable “Thrill of a Lifetime,” and welcome all competitors, their families and friends to each of their events over the course of the summer.

The season will begin with a driver training day (Saturday, April 25), followed by a club practice day (Sunday, April 26). The season will then begin on May 2, with the 13th and final regular event scheduled for September 26.

There are several special events sprinkled through the regular schedule, including a BBQ on June 27, special Sunday event on July 12, Friday night event on July 18, and a pair of reverse nights (June 6 and August 29).

The WRKC will close their season with a special event titled Octoberfest, featuring a Grand Prix Qualifying format. Teams will have the chance to practice on Friday October 9, followed by racing on Saturday, October 10.
