10 time defending Canadian Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke is to be inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall Fame (CMHF) at the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.'s Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto on Oct. 22, 2016. Inductees highlight this country’s successes in motorsports on two wheels and four throughout their careers.

“This year's list of inductees underlines the many different forms of motorsport where Canadians have excelled,” said the Hall’s Chairman Dr. Hugh Scully. “It is an honour for the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame to include these five new members who have not only found great success in their careers, but also thrilled countless fans over the years.”

Szoke has topped the record charts for an outstanding two decades hoisting the illustrious Canada Cup an unprecedented 10 times, twice by winning all the races on the calendar. Add to the list five Sportbike National Championships and four Observed Trials Championships, not another name in Superbike racing can match this Lynden ON rider’s achievements. Szoke’s career is still going strong as he has won the season opener at Shannonville Motorsports Park during the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship this past May.

“What an honour to be inducted in to the Motorsports Hall of Fame. To be recognized not only by the motorcycling community, but by the racing community as a whole is just amazing. Normally you need to be retired to get this sort of notoriety the fact that I’m still winning is pretty awesome.” smiles Szoke.

A limited number of tickets for the induction ceremony will be made available through the CMHF website (CMHF.ca). starting early July.

A reception following the induction ceremony will allow fans to have an opportunity to meet the inductees as well as bid on a variety of racing-related items in the CHMF's annual silent auction that will take place in the lobby of the theatre.
