Traditional ‘TUNER Room’ Returning To Canada’s Biggest Indoor Custom Car And Motorsports Expo

Toronto, Ontario – For many years, the ‘Tuner room’ was a significant and popular component of the annual spring custom car and racing show at Toronto’s International Centre. New for 2016 – when the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo returns to the massive venue across from Pearson International Airport – the Modified community will once again have its own dedicated space at the show!

On March 11, 12 & 13, 2016, the International Centre’s 30,000 square-foot Hall 4 will play host to ‘Spring Fever: Modified Cars & Culture.’ The high-profile showcase will feature the region’s top Modified vehicles in a setting that highlights the community’s unique lifestyle, sights and sounds.

Kristine Danton (below right), the founder and organizer of the long-running ‘Summer Showdown’ in Simcoe, Ontario will work with the full Motorama team to produce Spring Fever.

“We’re very excited to be working with Kristine Danton on this new component of Motorama,” said Mike Galipeau. “It was a priority to incorporate the ‘Modified’ car community back into the show – in its own dedicated space – and Kristine’s experience, reputation and vision are ideally suited to make Spring Fever a success.”

Discussing her new role, Danton said, “I’m really looking forward to spearheading Spring Fever at Motorama. I love these cars and the people who are passionate about them. I have a lot of experience with my own show, and I’m excited about being part of bringing the ‘Tuner room’ back to the big spring show at the International Centre. Because of its size and it being the first event of the season, it’s an important event for the community. I know a lot of people are going to be working hard all winter so that their cars can be part of it.”

In addition to showcasing the ‘best of the best,’ Spring Fever will be a family-friendly venue that features the latest products and trends. The stage will offer non-stop entertainment throughout the three-days of the show, including a DJ, celebrity appearances, industry forums and discussions, awards presentations and more.
