Milverton, Ontario – The NASCAR Pinty’s Series is heading to one of the most historic and well known racing venues in Ontario for the first road course of the 2022 season. The eBay Motors 200 will take place on Sunday, May 22, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, just 30 minutes north of Bowmanville. The 2.459-mile road course with 10 turns is sure to host an exciting race!

Entering the race weekend with the 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s Series points lead, Treyten Lapcevich will look to increase his points gap knowing this year’s field is equally as hungry to secure a top of the podium finish at this storied racetrack. In his first-ever visit to CTMP in 2021 Lapcevich finished 3rd, and hopes to get back on the podium this year with his No. 20 RGC / Qwick Wick / FBM Chevrolet Camaro.

Alex Tagliani has a multitude of experience racing on road courses. He previously won at CTMP in 2018 and finished 2nd in 2021. He is eager to get a 1st place finish this year in his No. 18 Viagra / St Hubert Chevrolet Camaro.

The race weekend kicks off with practice on Saturday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m, followed by qualifying taking place from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.. On Sunday, May 22 autograph session will run from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., with the eBay Motors 200 going green at 1:30 p.m.

The race will be 51 laps (200 kilometers), with non-mandatory pit stops for fuel and tires allowed. In the event of rain, the race will go on as the cars will be equipped for wet weather conditions.

The eBay Motors 200 will be on TSN on Saturday, May 28th at 4:00 p.m. and RDS2 on Sunday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m.. The race will also be streamed LIVE on TSN.ca, the TSN app, and Flo Racing in the United States. If you can’t make it out to the track this weekend, make sure you tune in to TSN on Sunday, May 22 at 3:30 p.m. to watch The NTN Ultimate Bearing Experience 250 from last weekend at Sunset Speedway.
