Rick Spencer-Walt kept his solid season going as he picked up another top-five finish on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway.

Spencer-Walt started off the night solidly, finishing fifth in his first heat before picking up a win in the second heat.

Starting deep in the field for the feature, Spencer-Walt was able to make up some ground in looking to work his way to the front. Though unfortunately, getting stuck in traffic and some tough passes relegated the progress, resulting in a fifth place finish.

The top-five just adds to the numbers this year for Walt Motorsports as in nine races this season (six at Peterborough, two at Sunset, one at Sauble), Spencer-Walt has now posted four wins and nine top-five finishes. Notably, the highlight of the year thus far being the victory at the Chase for the Colours, which will allow him to lead the field to the green at the Autumn Colours Classic in October.
