Milverton, Ontario – With the long anticipated wait over and the first event of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 2015 season about to begin, Steckly and his 22 Racing Team are ready to make a bid for their fourth championship.

“It’s been a long offseason and we are ready to get our Canadian Tire Dodge on the track,” said Steckly from his Milverton, Ontario race shop. “We have been out for a couple of test sessions and are pleasantly surprised with the speed we have in this car. I am determined to make 2015 the year I win a road course race. I have been the bridesmaid any number of times but I have never been able to take the top step on the podium at a road course event.”

The last two season openers at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park have not been kind to Steckly and his team so they look to change their fortunes this weekend and make a strong statement as they start to challenge for their fourth NASCAR Canadian Tire Series title.

The Victoria Day Speedfest Weekend takes place Saturday May 16th with practice and qualifying and the Pintys Clarington 200 green flag will wave Sunday May 17th at 12:30 p.m.

The Pintys Clarington 200 will air on May 23 at 1 p.m. ET on TSN and June 14 at 4:30 p.m. on RDS2.
