Saint-Eustache, Quebec - The Bumper to Bumper team will be heading to Jukasa Motor Speedway this weekend as part of NASCAR Pinty's first oval track event of the season.

Kevin Lacroix is confident about the APC 200 event, having won this event a year earlier. "It was my first oval race win, so I cannot wait to get back to Jukasa because it's a special track for me. "

This year, NASCAR Pinty's drivers will have a challenge to overcome as they will have the new General Tires Tires to test for the first time on an oval track. However, they will be able to do a practice session on Friday. "I have no doubt that the # 74 Bumper to Bumper / Total /Gates / PFC Brakes will again be excellent. Last year we found the winning recipe on this track with a win and a third place last September. This weekend will be all about repeating the same steps as last season to secure a second win in 2019."

Last year, Lacroix had led 128 of the 200 laps of this event, to claim victory eventually. The Jukasa Motor Speedway, formerly known as Cayuga Speedway, is a 0.625-mile (1 km) track.

After his victory at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park during the first round of the season two weeks ago, Lacroix is now the leader in the NASCAR Pinty's Championship. "In 2018, we were in the same position as now, but we lost the title because of several elements that were not in our favor. It is now a question of continuing the season with caution while securing wins. "
