Thorold, Ontario - Holiday Shoppers can get up to speed in the race for the perfect Christmas Gift for the race fan or racer as Merrittville Speedway’s 2015 Season Tickets, Pit Passes and Apparel will be available starting Monday December 8th at the Winter Office.

Race Fans can save more than $100.00 in purchasing either one of two Grandstand Season Ticket options in 2015 – even with a slight price increase.

“It’s never an easy decision to put an increase out there,” said (Merrittville GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “for several years the cost of doing business has increased and we have tried to hold the line. Even still … a night at the races is one of the most economical entertainment choices in all of Niagara.”

General Admission Grandstand Season Tickets have increased just $15.00 for Adults (now at $265.00) and Youth from 13 to 18 and Seniors 60 and up (now $245.00) while Reserved Grandstand Season Tickets are $295.00 and $265.00 respectively.

The Season Ticket increases come from a Regular Night Single Admission Ticket price increase of $1.00 for Adults, Youth and Seniors.

“Since the fall when the race track received more than 400 truckloads of new clay – we have had incredible interest in the 2015 Season,” revealed Bicknell-Jones, “with a Season Ticket … race fans are sure to enjoy some favorite events and new twists from start to finish!”

Perfect for Stocking Stuffers … Secret Santa gifts and last minute ideas for any occasion – Crash Cash Gift Certificates are available in $5.00 denominations and can be used all summer long for Admission, Food and Beverage or Apparel.

New for this year to keep you warm on a cold Winter’s Day … or during one of the early season events – Merrittville Speedway now has Toques available.

Merrittville Speedway’s Winter Office is located at Bicknell Racing Products – 117 Cushman Road in St. Catharines with a full line of new for 2015 BRP apparel also available in Mens and Ladies styles.

Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Race Teams also have a number of options for the coming season – including the Driver VIP Passes for those that achieved 75% Attendance in 2014. Drivers in the Turn 4 Collision Cylinder Division can purchase their VIP Passes for $225.00 while for the J&S Heating and Air Conditioning Modified Lites, Hoosier Stocks, Rick’s Delivery Sportsman and Bobcat of Hamilton 358 Modifieds – the cost is $275.00.

Pit Season Passes are also available for $375.00 which includes a Merrittville Membership until March 1st when it becomes $400.00. Memberships are available at any time for $75.00 which will provide Drivers and Crew Members with a savings on admissions weekly.

Drivers must be current Merrittville Speedway Members to receive Point Fund and any other awards at the end of the season. Race Fans and Race Teams should note that Season Tickets, Memberships and Season Passes require a photo of the pass holder. Photos can be taken at time of purchase or for gifts – other arrangements can be made.

For the rookie driver on your list or to get your favorite driver a head start in 2015 – limited space is available in the Pete Bicknell Driving School and BRP Chassis Seminar set for Saturday April 11th. Fees for Drivers are $400.00 while for individual Crew Members – registration is $75.00.
