Burlington, Ontario – REV TV, YOUR MOTORSPORTS & AUTOMOTIVE DESTINATION 24/7, is delighted to announce that it will be broadcasting the Honda Indy Toronto Welcome Press Conference live on REV TV (check with your TV provider for channel listings) as well as on the Official Honda Indy Facebook page and hondaindy.com at 12:30 PM ET on Thursday July 14th. Additional replays will also air in Primetime on July 14th and 15th on REV TV which is on nationwide FREE preview for the month of July.
The press conference marks the return of the longest running street course, next to only Long Beach, on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar after a hiatus due to the worldwide pandemic. The triumphant return of a Toronto tradition kicks off with the welcome press conference and will feature NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers Simon Pagenaud (the 2019 race winner) and Canadians Dalton Kellett and Devlin DeFrancesco. NASCAR Pinty’s driver L.P. Dumoulin, Reece Gold from Indy Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires, Myles Rowe from Cooper Tires U.S. F2000 Championship in addition to other support series will also be featured. The one-hour live conference will be hosted by Todd Lewis, host of REV Culture and a mainstay on the REV TV.
“REV TV has had great success broadcasting the Road to Indy and working with INDYCAR and Penske Entertainment Corp. over the past few years and we are so excited to have NTT INDYCAR SERIES back in our backyard,” said Mike Garrow, CEO of REV TV. “Green Savoree Racing Promotions put on some of the best races in the world, and broadcasting the Honda Indy Toronto Welcome Press Conference live is an exciting opportunity to show our viewers an intimate look at the drivers and organizers of one of Canada’s most important race weekends,” he added.
The broadcast will be produced as part of the strategic partnership announced in February between REV TV and Performance Productions Media Group (PPMG).
“PPMG has been a sponsor of the Honda Indy Toronto and Green Savoree Racing Promotions since 2009, and we’re thrilled to see the event finally return to the lakeshore,” said Tim Rutledge, President & Executive Producer, PPMG. “We’re excited to provide the opportunity for fans at home in Toronto and beyond to see this event and ask their own questions to Todd and the drivers.”
Coverage of the 2022 Honda Indy Toronto Welcome press conference goes live on July 14th at 12:30PM ET with a primetime replay at 8PM ET. Check revtv.ca for air times and further information.
