Giroux And Hansen Split Junior Restricted Features while Rookie Bolduc Also A First Time Winner.

Thorold, Ontario – Randy Giroux would break Joshua Hansen’s stranglehold in the Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Division – winning his first feature of the season June 30th. Hansen would regroup in the second feature taking his 6th Win in Lucas Oil Weekly Karting Series Racing at Merrittville Speedway.

2015 Rookie Sam Bolduc also won his first feature in the Vansickle PetValu Novice 1 Division.

Like Hansen, RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Driver Tucker Wood also won for the 6th time in seven starts.

Performance Manufacturing Divisional action had two drivers win their second straights events. Dylan Culp won for the second time in the Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Division while Kyle Rothwell also made it two in a row in the Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Division.

The see-saw battle continues in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division with Dalton Slack taking home his 4th win.

The Tim Phillips Garage KC Auto Parts Novice 2 Division drew only one competitor but Owen Kaiser used 3 sessions to get some valuable seat time.

Kart Racing continues Tuesday July 7th. Pits Open at 5 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
