Thorold, Ontario – “We stopped for dinner on the way and when our bill came up … it was $21.21,” said Tim Phillips in a Face Book post, “I just had this feeling then that tonight was going to be our night.”

Kyle Phillips would go on to put his #21 Kart in St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Victory Lane for his 5th Superior Petro Fuels Junior Restricted Feature Win of 2016 Tuesday August 30th.

Also winning their 5th Features at Merrittville Speedway were Cohen Corbett in the Tim Phillips Garage St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Novice 2 Division and John Farnan Lindberg in the Casell Manufacturing Senior Fun Division.

In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action, Nigel Pendykoski would take home his 8th Win in the Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Division and in the RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Division – Zach Trotter would win for the 4th time.

Donny Lampman would win his 7th Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Feature while Travis Majuery continues to lead all drivers after winning his 14th Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Feature in 17 starts.

The 2016 Kart Racing Season will conclude Tuesday September 6th. Pits Open at 5:30 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
