Caledon, Ontario - Kristopher Garvie of Caledon, Ontario is proud to announce his participation in the Laps 4 MD fundraising initiative in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Laps for Muscular Dystrophy is a network of professional racers donating $1 from every lap they lead to Muscular Dystrophy Canada supporting over 50,000 Canadians with Muscular Dystrophy.
Muscular Dystrophy Canada supports those affected by muscular dystrophy and related muscle diseases. Together, these rare conditions are referred to as “neuromuscular disorders.” Neuromuscular disorders are a group of diseases that weaken the body’s muscles.
Garvie will join the growing number of Canadian racers joining in support of Laps 4 MD in various forms of motorsport which includes the NASCAR Canadian Tires Series, MotoAmerica, Formula 1200 and the Trans Am Road Racing Series to mention just a few.
Laps for Muscular Dystrophy is happy to welcome Kristopher Garvie to their list of supporters as his support will help to make a difference in the lives those affected by Muscular Dystrophy.
In 2015 Garvie will contest the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) aboard his Mikeymoto.ca backed Honda CBR1000RR. In 2014 Garvie placed 3rd in the Hindle Exhaust Pro Sport Bike class and was 5th in the Mopar Canadian Superbike division.
Garvie was also the Sunoco Brooklin Cycle Pro Rookie of the Year in Mopar CSBK in 2013, and held the RACE Pro Superbike and Pro 600 number one plate in 2014! In the off season Garvie prepped himself for the coming season Training in the gym with Body Artist Fitness, as well as riding motocross and flat track.

This season Garvie will hit the track with new sponsors WALL ENERGY, LEGACY AUTO GROUP and MIKEYMOTO RACING. With continued backing from Honda Canada making it possible to race competitively for the 2015 season in the MOPAR Canadian Superbike Championship.
The 2015 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship campaign will open this weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park June 12-14 and the season will conclude with the traditional doubleheader at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, about a 45-minute drive from Toronto, August 14-16.
In addition to the event at Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway, the schedule features races at Autodrome St-Eustache, just north of Montreal, June 26-29, and Nova Scotia’s Atlantic Motorsport Park August 1-2.
