Trois-Rivières, Québec – For his fourth consecutive season taking part in the NASCAR Canadian Tire series, the driver of the #47 Dodge WeatherTech Canada/ Group Bellemare is more determined than ever for the upcoming events on the road circuit of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park which will occur on May 16-17. Crowned 2014 champion of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series, it’s yet another door towards the future that opens for Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. His main objective will be to defend his title with even more consistency and performance than last year.

Competition is ferocious, and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will once again fight alongside series veterans. Collaborating with Mario Gosselin, crew chief, and the rest of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Group Bellemare team, he has proven his ability to win races, both on road circuit (Trois-Rivières) and oval track (Saskatoon), as well as his ability to finish among other leaders (5 podiums, 9 top-5s, 2 victories).

“It’s really great to be able to show up at the first race while having won the previous year’s championship, especially with our business partner WeatherTech Canada having signed with us for two more years. Our goal is to stay ahead of the pack, win races, and win the championship once again. We’re convinced we can do it again. Our team is fantastic, we’ve done our homework during the winter, and we’re eager to see how it pays off on the track,” shares the 2014 champion of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series.

The WeatherTech Canada / Group Bellemare team

can count on new teammates from King Autosport, and Mario Gosselin, crew chief, is confident that the team will be off to a good start, while also keeping a single goal in mind: winning a second championship. “We’re very well prepared and cannot wait to be on the track to showcase the potential of the new adjustments we’ve made in the last few months and during practice runs last week. The most important thing is to have a strong presence at the end of each race and maintain our on-track consistency,” explains Mario Gosselin, crew chief of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Group Bellemare.
