Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team have been working hard to prepare for round number two of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series coming up this Saturday June 13th at the Autodrome Chaudière. Following a four-week break after the series opening round Ranger is anxious to get back in action.

The Roxton Pond, Quebec native appeared to be on his way to a strong finish during the inaugural series visit to the 1/3-mile track a year ago but late contact dropped them back in the field. “I think we proved last year that we’re fast on the ovals and I’m looking forward to getting back in action this weekend,” stated Ranger.

Three hundred grueling laps on the tight bullring at Chaudière is a challenge and Ranger knows the importance of good results in a short season. “We have to make sure we finish the race,” he stated. “And of course we want to try and win some races to focus on winning another championship” he added.

Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge will hit the track for practice and qualifying Saturday June 13th in the afternoon and the 300 lap race that evening at Autodrome Chaudière. Spectator gates open at Noon.

Ranger Et L’équipe Mopar Prêts Pour Chaudière

Andrew Ranger et l’équipe #27 propulsés par Mopar Parts Dodge ont travaillés très fort sur la préparation du bolide pour la deuxième épreuve de la série NASCAR CANADIAN TIRE qui se tiendra ce samedi, 13 Juin, sur le circuit de l’autodrome Chaudière. Quatre semaines se sont écoulées après la première épreuve, et Ranger est fébrile de retourner à l’action.

Le pilote de Roxton Pond, Québec semblait être sur le bon chemin pour une finale en force lors de la première visite sur le circuit d’un tiers de mile l’an dernier, mais un accrochage en fin de course lui avait fait perdre quelques positions. << Je pense que l’an passé on a prouvé qu’on est vite sur ovale et j’ai très hâte de me retrouver en piste cette fin de semaine, >> dit Ranger.

300 épuisants tours sur la très étroite arène de Chaudière est un gros défi et Ranger connait l’importance d’un bon résultat dans une courte saison. << On doit s’assurer de terminer la course, >> dit-il. << Et évidemment on veut essayer de gagner des courses pour se concentrer sur la victoire du championnat>> ajoute-t-il.

Andrew Ranger et le #27 Mopar Parts Dodge prendront d’assaut la piste pour les séances de pratiques et qualifications, samedi 13 Juin en après-midi et l’épreuve de 300 tours en soirée à l’autodrome Chaudière. Spectateurs, les portes ouvriront à midi.
