Second Road Course of the 2015 season in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series

Trois-Rivières, Québec – Tied in fifth position in the series standings, Jean-François Dumoulin and Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA #04 Dodge crew members come to ICAR to perform, on July 4th and 5th, for the Ecko Unlimited 100. The stakes are high for the elder Dumoulin brother, since his results will determine if he participates or not in both races in Western Canada, on July 11th and 15th.

In front of his Quebec fans, Jean-François Dumoulin will be driving with determination the Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA #04 Dodge. “Racing in Quebec is always important for my brother and I. Our partners, friends, fans and family come to cheer us on and it’s always so motivating”, shares Jean-François Dumoulin.

The goal of previous years had been oriented upon practice for the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, but 2015 is much different and comes in one goal : success. For the first season in his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series carreer, Jean-François Dumoulin has a high-performance car enabling him to finish in the leading pack.

“We have been having a very good season start, both Bernier Crépeau / Groupe Bellemare / MIA #04 cars are powerfull and I really have fun on oval tracks. Last week practice sessions went great. With Éric Laperle [crew chief] and King Autosport, we have refined adjustments. Doing good at ICAR means for us that we may make the trip to Western Canada and maybe even participate in all races in the championship”, says with enthousiam the driver qualified of a road-course ace.

The approach, on both mechanical and strategic levels, is totally different. Jean-François Dumoulin wants above all to keep his position in the standings, gaining precious championship points.”Maintaining the momentum is important. We want to achieve the best possible result at ICAR and be part of competition in the West.”
