It may still be a couple months till the 2017 race season kicks off, but that doesn’t mean that we’re not thinking about it. As the teams continue to prepare for the season, it’s also marks that time of the year where the cars are put on display and discussions kick into high gear.

This year, OSCAAR will once again be part of the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo taking place at the International Centre from March 11-13. Fans in attendance can stop by the series’ booth and pick up a copy of the schedule, while speaking of the plans for the upcoming season.

Fans are also welcome to check out the cars that will be on display, as well.

After picking up the best appearing award at the banquet, AJ Emms will have his No. 14 OSCAAR Modified on display. With just two finishes outside of the top-10 all season long, A.J. Emms put together a career-best season en route to finishing third in the OSCAAR Modified points standings, including the cap off in winning the Autumn Colours Classic to round out the year.

The OSCAAR Pro Midgets put together an impressive debut season last year, with fans entertained with the close racing on a weekly basis as the division grew over the course of the season. Series director Charles Priestly is proud to have two cars on display at the show this year.

The No. 31 of Rob Summers will be on display after posting a fifth place finish in points last year. Rob posted three fourth place finishes last year, along with Kelly Summer’s victory at Peterborough Speedway.

2016 Inaugural Pro Midget Series Champion Ted Greenwood will have his first ever “Evolution Chassis” on display that he is set to pilot this season. After winning the title, Greenwood announced the formation of Evolution Chassis, which will offer drivers a brand new custom built chassis to race in the Pro Midget class, as well as having other parts drivers will need on hand ready to go.

The OSCAAR Hot Rod Series will also have a display at the show, as D’Arcy Gribbon’s No. 44 Dodge will be on display once again. After a year of hard work behind the scenes, the series is set to tackle its debut season this year. The series is set to bring the retro steel bodied racecars of the 1949-early 1970s era back to the track in an affordable fashion.

Aside from the cars on display and booth, OSCAAR drivers are set to take part in some of the on-stage events at the show, including being part of the Short Track Night of Champions on Saturday, March 12.

While there is not an official autograph schedule for drivers in the booth, there will be drivers around throughout the entire weekend so be sure to stop by and say hi.
