Set to begin their fifth year of competition this coming weekend Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) is pleased to announce their high-powered line up of driver’s that will battle the competition over the summer across Canada. For the 2017 season a total of six talented drivers have been signed to compete at various events in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series race season.

CBRT will have experienced pilots behind the wheel in each of their four entries when the green flag waves for the season opening event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Veteran Racer Larry Jackson will drive in select events including this weekend’s race in the #28 car. Larry also serves a vital role assisting with the preparation of the Canada’s Best Racing Team cars for each event.

Two Western Canadians will be regular participants for CBRT this season. From Calgary Brett Taylor brings a variety of experience in his short career to the team and will drive the #25 this weekend. Brett will make his oval track debut later this summer at Edmonton International Raceway. Brett’s racing efforts are supported by New Home Listing Services and 365 Security.

“Racin” Jason White returns to NASCAR competition again this year in his Powder Ventures Excavating #21 machine and is also supported by Your GMC Store. White has a sixth place finish to his credit at CTMP. He also plans to compete in several other events this season.

CBRT General Manager and veteran racer Joey McColm will round out the four entries this weekend at CTMP. McColm is scheduled to participate in a total of three races this year, both events at CTMP along with the Toronto Indy weekend race.

Competing for CBRT later in the year will be 16-year-old sensation Armani Williams. Williams competed in the ARCA Truck series last year and participated in the NASCAR Drive 4 Diversity combine at Daytona. Williams is diagnosed with and an advocate for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Rounding out the quality stable of drivers is Quebec’s Simon Dion-Viens who will compete in a total of five races for CBRT. Viens has three Quebec championships to his credit and is backed by Bestbuy Auto Pieces, WE Finance and Olivier Kamouraka Chrysler and Castrol Canada. He will also serve as a brand ambassador for Castrol Canada in Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Final preparations for the opening weekend continue at the CBRT shop, a new team website launched this week at www.CBRTeams.com and there are still openings for interested drivers to join the 2017 season.
