Montreal, Quebec – Race number four on the thirteen race 2022 NASCAR Pinty's Series schedule takes place this Saturday June 25th at Eastbound International Speedway in Avondale, Newfoundland & Labrador. This event marks the first time the series and drivers will race on the ¨ü mile oval. Alex Tagliani, of Lachenaie, Quebec is tied for the lead in the series overall championship standings

 

I expect a very popular race this Saturday, said Tagliani. I can't tell you how excited I've been to come out here to Newfoundland."

 

"I had the opportunity to visit St. John's last week with NTN and participate in their meetings with local distributors and their gala attended by Deputy Premier - Minister of Finance Siobhan Coady and City Councilor Debbie Hanlon. It was a fantastic night, we raised $15,000 for the Iris Kirby House."

 

"Another highlight was my visit to a local elementary school. The kids were unbelievable, I received many gifts including painted rocks that looked like my old EpiPen #18 car. What an incredible time."

 

"It was a fantastic visit. I met some great people and enjoyed a very lovely city. All the fans I met are very excited and can't wait to see our series race on their beautiful facility."

 

"I can't tell you how eager I am to put on a great show for these awesome race fans. NASCAR is going to a build a huge new fan base from this race."

 

Raceday kicks off with practice at 10:45 a.m. NST, followed by qualifying taking place at 3:25 p.m. NST (1:55 p.m. EST). The PRO•LINE 225 presented by QwickWick will go green at 4:30 p.m. NST (3:00 p.m. EST). The race will be 225 laps, with a planned pit stop at the halfway mark.
