Thorold, Ontario – For the second straight week Merrittville Speedway had 5 Lucas Oil Weekly Karting Series Drivers winning their first features of 2016.
First to visit KC Auto Parts Victory Lane was William Younger who won the Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Feature.
Hana Rothwell, Donny Lampman, Dalton Slack and Paul Lindberg also took home their first wins of the young season in the Tim Phillips Garage KC Auto Parts Novice 2, Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2, Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted, and Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Divisions.
In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action, two drivers kept their early season win streaks going after winning their second straight events. Back to back winners were Logan Illiffe and Travis Majuery in the RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 and Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Divisions.
