Thorold, Ontario – KC Auto Parts Victory Lane was waiting for it's second round of feature winners May 13th at Merrittville Speedway but just who they are won't be decided until next Wednesday May 21st when Lucas Oil Kart Weekly Racing Series action resumes.

 

"With the storm we had Monday Night ... we were quite happy with how the facility got real racy ... it sure was a fast track," said (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, "we knew that there was another storm coming and were hoping to get the night in but we had no other choice to cancel during the second round of heats."

 

Performance Manufacturing Divisional action will pick up where it left off in the second round of heats - starting with the Ed McPherson Construction Junior 2 Class. Once the Features are complete for the Drummond Home Hardware Novice 1, Tim Phillips Garage KC Auto Parts Novice 2, RCM Racing Equipment Junor 1, Junior 2, Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted, Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Wilder Racing Engine Senior Animal and Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Divisions – each division will run a single heat to help line up second Burris Tire features to close out the night.

 

With the ZFS Benefit Solutions and Zavitz Financial Strategies presentation of the 100 lap 358 Modified Super DIRTcar Series along with the first Ballhockey.com Enduro Qualifier accelerated by Niagara College Monday May 19th ... Kart Teams are reminded that the next race is Wednesday May 21st. Gates open at 5 PM and Grandstand Admission is FREE. Racing begins at 7:00.
