Competing in several championships and karting platforms throughout North America, Canadian Nathan Dupuis is set to make his European debut. Receiving an exciting phone call earlier this week, Dupuis has been added to the Team Canada roster for the RMC Grand Finals at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno, Italy, next month.

Courtesy of his second-place championship result at the RMC Winter Trophy in January, Dupuis was the reserve driver for champion Turner Brown. Recently finding out that Brown has declined the trip overseas, the call was made to Dupuis to fill the void.

“I am excited, anxious, and a little nervous already,” expressed Dupuis, who was confirmed Monday to attend his first Grand Finals event in the Junior Max class. “While I am going for the experience and to represent my country, I am going to work hard over the next six weeks to try to learn as much as I can and be as ready as possible to take on the world.”

Dupuis added, “A huge thank you to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today, and a big shout out to Speed Concepts Racing, my former team, and the team I was driving for to earn this ticket back in January for pushing me hard and making me believe that every position counts.”
