Free 65th Anniversary T Shirt with Membership Renewals until February 27th Q&A Session
Thorold, Ontario – With Merrittville Speedway Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Teams hard at work in preparation for the Thorold Track’s 65th Season – one step in the process includes purchasing memberships.
Drivers planning on competing in either the Sportsman or Pinty’s Delicious Foods 358 Modified Divisions must be Merrittville and DIRTcar Members and when registering for both licenses until February 27th will receive a FREE 65th Anniversary T Shirt.
“It isn’t every year that we can say there will be no rule changes,” relays (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “but throughout our 5 Saturday Night Divisions … we are thrilled that’s the case as everyone is readying for 2016!”
New or returning drivers in the Van Raine Construction 4 Cylinder, Rev’s Full Throttle Powersports Modified Lite, Hoosier Stock, Sportsman and 358 Divisions can have any questions answered in a one on one Q&A Session with Speedway Officials and Owners on Saturday February 27th at Pete’s Automotive in St. Catharines from 1 to 4 PM while purchasing Memberships and Season Passes.

Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Race Teams have a number of options for the coming season – including the Driver VIP Passes for those that achieved 75% Attendance in 2015. Drivers in the 4 Cylinder Division can purchase their VIP Passes for $225.00 while for the Modified Lites, Hoosier Stocks, Sportsman and 358 Modifieds – the cost is $275.00. Drivers are reminded that their VIP Passes must be purchased by March 1st, 2016.
Pit Season Passes are also available for $375.00 which includes a Merrittville Membership until March 1st when it becomes $400.00. Memberships are available at any time for $75.00 which will provide Drivers and Crew Members with a savings on admissions weekly.
Drivers must be current Merrittville Speedway Members to receive Point Fund and any other awards at the end of the season. Race Fans and Race Teams should note that Season Tickets, Memberships and Season Passes require a photo of the pass holder.

Drivers planning on participating in either the Pen Centre or Seaway Mall Race Car Shows must be current Merrittville Members by February 15th to be eligible.
Race Teams and Race Fans alike looking for specifics on the 65th Anniversary Schedule can look forward to three DIRTcar Series Events when the 358 Super DIRTcar Series on Monday May 23rd rejoins Monday August 1st’s Bob St. Amand Senior Memorial Big Block Super DIRTcar Series 100 and Saturday September 10th’s Sportsman traditional events.
Race Fans can save more than $100.00 in purchasing either one of two Grandstand Season Ticket options in 2016 which are available at any time leading up to the start of the season.
General Admission Grandstand Season Tickets for Adults are $265.00 and Youth from 13 to 18 and Seniors 60 are $245.00 while Reserved Grandstand Season Tickets are $295.00 and $265.00 respectively.
