Edmonton, Alberta – For the third year in a row, the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare team has crossed the finish line in second place on the circuit of the Edmonton International Raceway. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has demonstrated all of his skills and fighter tenacity by fiercely defending his position throughout the entire 300-lap event which was punctuated by nine neutralizations.

The mechanical team has done exemplary work, especially having had to change the carburetor and engine of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car. During today’s race, it was with great efficiency that Billy Burns, crew chief, has deployed a winning strategy. In fifth place on the starting grid and spending the majority of his time in the top-3, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin was able to skillfully maneuver his way through the multiple incidents that occurred in the race.

“The boys have worked really hard on the car yesterday, and I’m very proud of them. We were forced to reintegrate a used engine16072406a which had already been used for six races. I was competitive, and the strategy was to make sure we had good positioning for restarts, and to stay in the top-3 to finish strong. It’s not over, we want to win races, and we’re taking it one race at a time,” shares the determined driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car.
