Stirling, Ontario – The Go Nuclear Late Model Series is set to head south of the border for the final time in 2016 season when it visits Fulton Speedway on Friday, September 30. The $1,000-to-win Pit Stop Convenience Stores 50 presented by Gillee’s NAPA Auto Parts joins the track’s famous Outlaw 200 weekend.

The Go Nuclear Series has not visited Fulton since 2014 when West Monroe, NY native Dale Caswell went to victory lane. Prior to Caswell’s triumph, former Crate Late Model standout turned Modified regular Tim Sears Jr. claimed two straight victories at the big 3/8-mile oval north of Syracuse.

Fulton Speedway 2016 track champion Chris Fleming of Auburn, NY enters the weekend as the early favourite after his five wins and 12 top-five finishes in his 15 starts there this season. Fleming enters the race fifth in Go Nuclear Series points in search of his first win of the season.

AJ Kingsley (4), Kevan Cook (2), Brandon Ford (2), Mathew Parkhurst (1) and Bryce Davis (1) all earned wins at Fulton in 2016 and will be top contenders in the tour’s only stop at the track.

The Go Nuclear Series is fresh off the $6,000 to win Great Crate Race at Brighton Speedway last Saturday, won by series point leader Charlie Sandercock. The Trenton, Ont. native enters the Fulton date with a sizable 71-point lead over Brighton, Ont. native Brandon Mowat in the championship standings.

So far this season only three different drivers have found victory lane with the Go Nuclear Series. Sandercock claimed both visits to his home Brighton Speedway on June 25 and September 24 as well as wins at Cornwall Motor Speedway on July 3 and Mohawk International Raceway on September 17. Mowat has visited victory lane twice, the first at Humberstone Speedway on July 24 before taking checkers at Mohawk on September 16. John Waters of Whitesville, NY claimed wins at Utica-Rome Speedway on April 24 and Ohsweken Speedway on July 25.

Pit Gates open at 3:00pm for the major event with hot laps scheduled for 6:00pm and the first green flag at 7:00pm. Adult general admission is $22 (15 and older) while Youth admission is $8 (14 and under). Pit admission is $35. Additional event information is available at www.fultonspeedway.com.
