Saturday April 26th ... See it ... Smell it and make your WAY to the Seaway Mall Spring Sizzler featuring the Patriot Sprint Tour ... the Bobcat of Hamilton 358 Modifieds and the Rick's Delivery Sportsman.

Pit Gates open for the Seaway Mall Spring Sizzler at 3 PM with the Great Clips Grandstand Ticket Office opening for the first time of the Season at 5:30. Showtime is at 7 PM.

"Since race fans enjoyed seeing the Race Cars up close during their stay with us," reveals Seaway Mall's Mike Belcastro, "we have been anticipating seeing them in action on the track as much as anyone."

The Spring Sizzler kicks off the 12th Season for the Patriot Sprint Tour.

Merrittville Fans may remember last year's Spring Sizzler which saw eventual overall Champion Steve Poirer of St. Mathieu de Beleoil leading the entire 25 lap event on the Lucas Oil Live Leaderboard but at different points around the d-shaped oval there were several different leaders.

Scott Kreutter, Glenn Styres and Mitch Brown were all in the hunt with Brown questionable for this year's visit as he is currently leading his Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League 's Caledonia Pro-Fit Corvairs in the race for the 2014 Sutherland Cup.

Justin Barger made one late race challenge that had the large crowd on their feet but Poirer survived to take the win.

Chad Brachmann and BJ Willard are the defending winners in the Bobcat of Hamilton and Rick's Delivery Sportsman Divisions respectively.
