This past season Adams stepped up to the highly competitive St. Onge Recreation Super Stock division at Sunset Speedway where she competed in a grueling 18 race Super Stock schedule against some of the best up-and-coming drivers as well as some highly experienced veterans.
The 17 year old grade 12 Extended French student originally met Mobil 1 Grassroots Motorsport Coordinator David Swain at the inaugural Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo back in 2015. Starting with an initial meeting to discuss product support for her 2015 season the partnership grew to an associate sponsorship in 2016 as she transitioned from the Mini-Stock division to her inaugural Super Stock season.
“It’s been a genuine pleasure to work with David and represent the Mobil 1 brand for the past two years.” said Adams. “I’m looking forward to continuing our partnership in 2017. It will be an honour to have my #2 Mobil 1 Chevy on display at their booth March 10, 11 &12, 2017 during the third annual Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo.
Last July the UK-based TV show Mobil 1 The Grid production team joined Adams at Sunset International Speedway for a full day to film an episode that also featured longtime Mobil 1 sponsored NASCAR driver and legend Tony Stewart. Mobil 1 Grassroots Motorsport Coordinator David Swain will be a guest on Adam’s new TV series tentatively titled “The Fast Lane” airing sometime in June. Swain will discuss attracting sponsors and what they look for. This show will be part reality and part news programming as the show will follow the day in the life of a race car driver. The primary focus will be on motorsports, however, the secondary focus will be diversity and women in a variety sports.
