The new season can’t come fast enough for Wood - the father of 2017 Wood Motor Company Modified Lite Division Rookie Tucker who looks to be the youngest Saturday Night competitor in Merrittville’s soon to be 66 consecutive seasons.
The 11 year old Stevensville resident prior to 2016 enjoyed a successful Kart Racing Career that resulted in three championships – two of those on Tuesday Nights. Last summer was spent gaining seat time during Humberstone Open Practice Nights and a trip to the Brewerton Speedway to compete.

Tucker’s number however comes from when his Dad Brett raced in the Sportsman Division.
As his driving career is about to take off, so too is the career of his older sister Maci who has been growing as a singer and performer.
