Edmonton, Alberta – The #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare team has scored its fifth top-5 of the season yesterday, on the circuit of the Edmonton International Raceway (Alberta). It is with ruthlessness and efficiency that the crew proceeded with the replacement of a ball joint within the first laps of the practice session. In ninth place on the starting grid, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin was able to adapt his driving to strong under steering at the start of the race, which was then corrected by the team by the mid-race point. Throughout each of the 300 laps, he fought with great determination in order to get the maximum out of his car.

Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has strategically climbed up the ranks by continuously competing, and made his way to third place by the 270th lap. "We really wanted to climb the podium!", says the driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car. "What cost us places was restarts where we were forced on a trajectory on the far side. Furthermore, the car was complicated to steer. We're still happy with the top-5. We're not giving up, there are still five races to go and anything is possible, we want wins!"

Home sweet home: Trois-Rivières Grand Prix – The Can-Am 50 tours (Trois-Rivières, Québec)

Here we are! It is with great pride that the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare team will present themselves at the mythical event which is the Trois-Rivières Grand Prix, on the August 12-13 weekend. This race always holds special importance for the Dumoulin brothers, as it takes place in their native town, imprinted with memories and success.
