Thorold, Ontario – For several years, Modern Corporation Night at Merrittville Speedway has also meant Big Rig Truck Show and Shine Night.
For 2018’s Edition Saturday July 7th it will be Big for racers and race fans as well with the Summer BBQD Sizzler awarding bonus cash and a chance at a Lifetime Grandstand Season Pass.
“It was unfortunate that we couldn’t kick off the season with the Semenuk’s Esso Spring Sizzler,” said Merrittville’s Don Spiece, “hopefully the extra money will help some of our race teams kick off summer and for the fans … someone will be able to enjoy a lifetime of Saturday Night excitement.”
Each Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series Division will have the following amounts up for grabs in their Feature Events … $100 to win for the Dave’s Auto & Speed Centre V6 … $300 to win for the Vansickle Pet Valu & Groomingdale’s Mod Lites … $500 to win for the Central Fabricating & Welding 4 Cylinders … $500 to win for the Hoosier Stocks … $1000 to win for the David Chevrolet Sportsman and $1500 to win for the S&W Service Centre 358 Modifieds.
In each Victory Lane Celebration – the Feature Winner will draw and a lucky driver in each division will also receive the Feature Winner Amount for his or her division.
Through a FREE Draw – one lucky Race Fan will also win a Lifetime Grandstand Season Pass.
