Milverton, Ontario – Event number four on the thirteen race 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s Series schedule takes place this Saturday June 25th at Eastbound International Speedway in Avondale, Newfoundland & Labrador. This event marks a first for the series and drivers, having never been to this ⅜-mile oval before.
Our dedicated truck drivers already began their long journey with the haulers, leaving Monday and heading to Sydney, Nova Scotia where they will catch the ferry to Newfoundland.
Going into the race weekend 22 Racing drivers Treyten Lapcevich sits 8th in the points standings and Alex Tagliani is tied for 1st with Kevin Lacroix.
Coming off a fifth-place finish at Autodrome Chaudière, Alex Tagliani is still digging for his first first-place finish of the 2022 season. His experience and adaptability are sure to come into play for the driver of the No. 18 Viagra / St Hubert Chevrolet Camaro as he tackles this new track.
After an unfortunate mechanical issue made Treyten Lapcevich unable to finish the race at Autodrome Chaudière, the driver of the No. 20 RGC / Qwick Wick / FBM Chevrolet Camaro is eager to bounce back in Newfoundland! His oval racing background and resilience are sure to contribute to some strong results this weekend.
