Ohsweken, Ontario - Aaron Turkey brought the Styres/Hill's Racing team another feature win last weekend, and set a track record in the process.
FRIDAY, JUNE 20
The Styres/Hill's team was busy last Friday, with 6 drivers racing in two different divisions at Ohsweken Speedway. Aaron Turkey was the highest-finishing driver for the team, as he took the feature win in the Crate Sprint Car feature, and set a 15 lap track record of 4:16.714. Styres/Hill's team drivers Robbie General and Ryan Hunsinger finished 6th and 7th in the Crate Sprint Car feature, respectively.
Glenn Styres, Jessica Zemken, and Keith Dempster were part of the field for the challenge race between the Patriot Sprint Tour and Ohsweken's Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Car division on Friday. Styres started 7th and made a last-lap attempt to steal the win from Jared Zimbardi, and 2nd place from Jason Barney, but ended up settling for 3rd. Zemken charged from 16th to finish 5th, while Dempster finished 20th.
Styres and Hunsinger remain the points leaders in their respective divisions at Ohsweken.
SATURDAY, JUNE 21
Alex Hill and Dylan Westbrook brought their 600cc Micro Sprints back to Paradise Speedway in New York on Saturday night.
Dylan's night ended prematurely with a broken clutch, while Alex was involved in a crash on the first lap of the feature. She restarted near the back of the 23 car field and was able to make some moves and bring home a 14th place finish.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Glenn Styres and Keith Dempster will be back in action this Friday, June 27 for Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Car racing at Ohsweken Speedway, while Robbie General, Aaron Turkey, and Ryan Hunsinger will be racing in the Strickland's GMC Crate Sprint Car division.
Jessica Zemken will be racing in Pennsylvania this weekend, with stops at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, and Path Valley Speedway on Sunday.
Alex Hill and Dylan Westbrook will be back in action with their 600cc Micro Sprints this weekend in Pennsylvania, with stops at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway on Saturday, and Path Valley Speedway on Sunday.
