Johnathan Schwemler Racecars will be competing with their Soldier On / Sans Limites branded Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series stock-car at Flamboro Speedway tomorrow.

This will be the first race for their new chassis, a 2007 McColl that won the inaugural NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at Cayuga Speedway among others.

Driver, Johnathan Schwemler, has competed once before at Flamboro, qualifying 8th and running in the
top 5 before an accident and subsequent fire left him several laps down.

"I'm really excited about returning to Flamboro, I have limited experience at all of these tracks and I've
been able to test a couple times here, so it's one of the more familiar tracks for me." commented
Schwemler. "I'm a little nervous about the new car, we haven't tested and I'm not 100% sure what we
will have out-of-the-box, but I know we'll work on it all day to make it the best we can. Our new build
was a challenge, I wanted enough car to challenge guys likes Shawn McGlynn, Jake Ott, Josh Wood and Dave Connelly on a weekly basis."

JSR's 2014 season and their ability to promote Soldier On / Sans Limites, the official charity of the Canadian Armed Forces is made possible by Lincoln Welders Canada, In The Pits Media, Nivek Holsteins, Darcy King of Royal LePage RCR Realty, Lamorea Productions, uBu Photography and generous donations from friends, family and other LOSC competitors.

Flamboro Speedway is located outside of Hamilton, Ontario and will host four LOSC events in 2014. Pit gates open at 2 PM with the main spectator gates opening at 5, the same time LOSC time trials will commence.

The Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup is an Ontario based touring series featuring production appearing fibreglass bodies on purpose built tubular frame racing cars. Horsepower ranges from 400 - 470 horsepower depending on engine package. These cars are very similar to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series cars, as both series were once a part of the CASCAR sanctioning body.
