Niagara Falls' Nelson Mason heads to Macau after finishing third in the final point standings for the F3 Open Series.
As Nelson Mason of Niagara Falls, ON finished his duties in the F3Open Series this past weekend in Barcelona, Spain it's only stage one of his racing circumnavigation of the globe!
After the Barcelona F3 Open Series round, where Nelson finished off the season championship in third position, he traveled Monday to the headquarters of PONS Racing outside of Barcelona- who compete in the World Series by Renault to spend time in their simulator testing WSR setups as well as some virtual seat time at Macau for this week's F3 Macau GP.
From Spain Nelson flew on to Dubai, then on to Hong Kong (Tuesday now-keep up), Nelson travels - then on to Macau by ferry to meet the team he will drive for in the legendary Macau Grand Prix, Jo Zeller Racing and a seat fitting in their Dallara Mercedes.
Following the Macau Grand Prix on track action Thursday through Sunday, Nelson will fly home Monday via Vancouver, then landing in Toronto and driving home to Niagara Falls- completing his circumnavigation of the globe. Nothing like finishing the 2013 season with a flurry!
