Lexington, Ohio – Pirelli World Challenge TC, TCA and TCB drivers head to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, August 13–15 as the series' 2015 season heads into the homestretch. Forty drivers across three of the series' seven classes will compete in the OPTIMA Batteries Mid-Ohio Grand Prix presented by MOMO. TC, TCA and TCB drivers will compete in Rounds 10, 11 and 12 of the championships.

Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car: Poland and Fergus Set for Showdown

Adam Poland, of Mount Vernon, Texas, in the No. 33 Edge Addicts/Majestic Pet Eastex Motorsports Mazda MX-5 comes into the weekend first overall in class with 892 points after a second and third in Rounds 8 and 9 at Road America. While Poland hasn't won a race yet this season, he's been a model of consistency having only finished out of the top 5 once in nine races.

Columbus, Ohio's Corey Fergus, in the No. 00 USLED/Axis Roofing/AERO/RSS/Motul Motorsports Promotions Porsche Cayman enters the weekend second in the TC Drivers' Championship only 12 points behind Poland (880) after scoring a second in Round 7 at Road America. He'll look to get on the top step at his home track this weekend.

Another driver looking to make some noise this coming weekend is Ernie Francis Jr. of Davie, Fla., piloting the No. 98 Breathless Performance/Time4Learning Breathless Racing Mazda MX-5. Francis Jr. sits third overall in class with 628 points after winning the Round 9 race at Road America. With a strong weekend at Mid-Ohio, Francis Jr. could get himself back into contention in the championship.

The Webster, N.Y. husband and wife team behind Berg Racing will be campaigning a pair of cars, with John Weisberg driving the No. 40 REDCOM Laboratories/Color Track/Red Line Berg Racing Porsche Cayman, and Dinah Weisberg in the No. 50 REDCOM Laboratories/Color Track/Red Line BERG Racing Mazda MX-5. John Weisberg sits fifth overall with 485 points.

Jeff Altenburg, of Ellicott City, Md., the former series TC Drivers' Champion from 2007, will run the No. 15 HPA Motorsports VW Jetta GLI. Altenburg won the Round 8 race at Elkhart Lake. HPA will also campaign the No. 16 HPA Motorsports VW Jetta GLI for Alex Welch of Englewood, Colo.

Vesko Kozarov, of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the No. 3 Skullcandy Team Nissan Nissan Altima has won two races this season – Round 3 at the Circuit of the Americas and Round 7 at Road America. He sits sixth overall in the class championship with 483 points. Teammate Nicolas Hammann, of Elkhart Lake, Wis. will make his first series start in the No. 35 Skullcandy Nissan 370Z.

Completing the 16-car TC field entered for Mid-Ohio are Steve Burns, of San Antonio, Texas, in the No. 43 VP Racing Fuels Ian Lacy Racing Ford Mustang V6; Austin Snader, of Sealy, Texas, in the No. 64 Encapsulite International, Inc. Snader Racing Mazda MX-5; Cory Friedman, of Charleston, S.C., in the No. 04 Mac Papers/Hastings Fiberglass Autometrics Motorsports Porsche Cayman; David Baum, of Hastings, Mich. in the No. 03 Mac Papers/Hastings Fiberglass Autometrics Motorsports Porsche Cayman; Jeff Ricca, of Milford, Conn. in the No. 78 GenRacer/ Enthuspec Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T; Fred Emich, of Denver , Colo., in the No. 87 Emich Racing Volkswagen Jetta GLi; and Paul Street, of Anniston, Ala., in the No. 93 Honda Motorsports Alabama (HMA) Honda Accord.

Pirelli World Challenge TCA: Rivera Leads Class. Wolfe Looks for Strong Results at Home Track

Tony Rivera, of Vista, Calif., had a dominating Road America weekend winning all three rounds to take the lead in the TCA Drivers Championship with 841 points entering the Mid-Ohio weekend. He will pilot the No. 86 Tiburon Motorsport Brass Monkey Racing Scion FR-S.

Defending class champion Jason Wolfe of Mount Vernon, Ohio, sits second overall in class with 829 points and returns home to run at Mid-Ohio. Wolfe is an instructor at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course high performance school and has had good success in races at the track – in 2014, he won Round 9. Wolfe will drive the No. 36 Wolfe Trucking Kinetic Motorsports Kia Forte Koup. Teaming with him is Canadian Samantha Tan, of Gormley, Ont. in the No. 38 Kinetic Motorsports Kia Forte Koup.

Fellow Canadian Patrick Seguin is third overall in class after scoring two fifths and a third in three races at Road America. Seguin, of Ottawa, Ont., will pilot the No. 39 helpkevinproject.com/buynutrimind.com Branden Peterson Racing Honda Civic Si.

Series stalwarts Compass360Racing bring two Honda Civic Sis to the battle at Mid-Ohio with Emilee Tominovich, of Clarksville, Md., in the No. 72 Compass360 Racing Honda Civic Si and Ron Yarab, of Youngstown, Ohio, in the No. 71 Compass360 Racing Children's Tumor Foundation/HPD/Racing4Research.org Honda Civic Si. Tominovich sits fourth overall in the championship standings with 676 points.

Chase Pelletier, of Brampton, Ont., will pilot the No. 11 American Honda/Carsquare.com Garrett Racing Honda Civic Si. Pelletier won one of the TCB races in 2013 at Mid-Ohio.

Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car B-Spec: Schwartz and Nixon Set for Duel at Mid-Ohio

Before the Road America weekend, Johan Schwartz, of Huntersville, N.C., had dominated the TCB class winning five of six races. Coming into the Mid-Ohio weekend, he leads the TCB class drivers' championship with 1070 points and will pilot the No. 25 Tech Sport Racing / Zero Cancer Chevy Sonic.

Schwartz holds a slim one-point lead over Glenn Nixon, of Mission, B.C. who will pilot the No. 58 Racing.ca/LaptopScreen.com/Nixon Prosport Racing.ca Honda Fit. Nixon won all three races at Road America. Racing.ca will campaign a total of three cars in TCB with Nixon's teammates Andrei Kisel, of North Vancouver, B.C. in the No. 57 Racing.ca/LaptopScreen.com Racing.ca MINI Cooper and Wei Lu, of Richmond, B.C., in the No. 59 Racing.ca/Nixon Prosports/LaptopScreen.com/Miniusa.com Racing.ca MINI Cooper.

Jason Fichter, of Jupiter, Fla., in the No. 7 Surf Fire & Security Breathless Racing MINI Cooper comes into the weekend third in points with 668 after scoring three top-10 results at Road America.
