Toronto, Ontario – Rice Racing, a Toronto-based motorsports team is proud to announce their entry into the 2016 CASC Regional Racing series, in competition to win the Race Ontario Championship.
Driver and founder of Rice Racing, Lindsay Rice, will be piloting a 2005 911 Carrera in the GT (closed-wheel) class for the duration of the season. The car, once a street car now turned race-spec, has been prepared to race in the GT3 class with CASC Regional events.
The CASC Regional Racing season opener will be on the weekend of May 14th, 2016 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, ON. Lindsay is looking forward to racing in the CASC Regional Racing series, a series which she has personally watched and volunteered for in prior years.
This will be Lindsay’s first season in competitive racing, and she is very proud to announce her inaugural season with her team, Rice Racing. She has also teamed up with three-time Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada Master’s Champion, Marco Cirone, for her training, as well as the Bestline Autotech team for race support.
“It is very surreal to me that I will begin to competitively race this season,” said Lindsay. “My excitement and my determination have never been so high. I have worked very hard to get to this point, and now that it is here I can’t believe it. Racing has been a goal of mine for many years, and here I am, taking on the series in a beautiful and well-tuned 911, built by Bestline Autotech. I could not have done it without the support of my team, and my family and friends. Thank you all. It is all happening.”

June 4-5: Calabogie Motorsport Park
