Peterborough Ontario – Canadian Touring Car Championship (CTCC) driver Kyle Tasker kicks off his 2016 race season at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park this weekend. Tasker is not only excited to get back on track but equally excited to announce a new partnership with MAV TV Canada.

The Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental Tire (CTCC) gets their 10th anniversary season underway with a weekend doubleheader at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Bowmanville, Ontario May 20-22. The Castrol presents the Victoria Day SpeedFest Weekend also features the NASCAR Pinty's Series as well as all classes of the Pirelli World Challenge Championship, all adding to the family-friendly spectacle known as the unofficial kick-off to the summer.

The JDS Autosports team, founded by Tasker and his father Doug, along with a dedicated crew have been working diligently over the off-season preparing Tasker’s #17 Hyundai Tiburon to be as competitive as possible in this very demanding series.

“I have made a lot of changes over the off-season but my desire to be competitive and charge hard for the win has never wavered. I have a strong car and my training with Human 2.0 has helped me prepare to be physically and mentally ready for a hard-fought season.” said Tasker.

Tasker will take the JDS Autosports prepared #17 Hyundai Tiburon through its paces this weekend with a new addition to his family of corporate partners; MAV TV Canada. MAVTV is known as the destination for all things motorsports offering an unparalleled line-up of motorsports events and exclusive automotive reality shows.
