The Prema team completed a memorable weekend at Zandvoort. Lining-up for the sixth round of the FIA F.3 European Championship, the Italian squad, led by René Rosin captured three 1-2 finishes in three races, with three of their drivers sharing the honours. It was a brand-new record for the championship. After the win scored by Lance Stroll in Race 1 in front of his team-mate Nick Cassidy, the New Zealander cruised to victory in race 2 followed by Gunther and the German finally delivered in race 3, topping Cassidy in a cavalcade at the front for the Mercedes-powered Prema Dallaras. The Italian squad has now secured 11 wins out of 17 races held so far.

Ralf Aron ended up with another points finish in 8th while Stroll, who was forced to start last following to a penalty for a technical infringement in qualifying 2, took the day as a test and came back to the pits twice for set-up changes. He is still leading the championship with 259 points, while Gunther has trimmed his gap and now stands at 203. Cassidy is fourth (172), just one point away from Ilott, while Aron is eight with 94 points.

# 1 - Lance Stroll

"Like in Saturday's race, starting from the back of the grid today was always going to be difficult and that's the way it turned out again. The track layout was also not allowing for overtaking opportunities. But anyways we tried a few things and came away with the fastest race lap so thanks to Prema for a fast race car. I'm already focused on Spa!"

# 2 - Nick Cassidy

“I am happy with this weekend and I am also happy with this race. I started from second place and finished in the same position, so I can’t complain.”

# 16 - Ralf Aron

“On a racetrack where passing is almost impossible, I held onto my qualifying position throughout the race. Now we are already focusing on the next round at Spa-Francorchamps to continue our improvement”.

#17 - Maximilian Günther

“At Zandvoort, the start is the key to victory, I already knew that beforehand. My start was good and I was in the lead going into the first corner. After that, I drove consistent lap times, I didn’t make any mistakes and also tried to save my tyres in the process. When Nick slightly closed up, I was able to increase my speed. I was in control of the race. Next to this victory, I am also happy that I have been able to reduce the gap to Lance Stroll in the drivers’ standings while I also extended my margin to Callum Ilott in third.”
