Announced by Indy Car today, Canadian broadcast rights holder Sportsnet has moved 10 races to the Sportsnet 360 channel.

This is a huge step forward for Canadian Indy Car fans, as last season all races were available only through premium options, either the Sportsnet World channel or the Sportsnet + premium streaming service, both $20/mth + options. Last year, most Canadian fans only saw what was available from the NBC over-the-air broadcasts. 

Continuing the good news, the Sportsnet360 broadcasts do not mirror the NBC over-the-air broadcasts, meaning all but 3 of the Indy Car Series races should be available to most Canadian fans this season. As well, the 3 races not available are all in April, Houston, Long Beach and COTA, meaning with a single month subscription to Sportsnet + for about $28.00 you can see the entire season.
