Bowmanville, Ontario - The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America will continue its exciting 2014 season with two rounds July 11-13 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, with championship leader Kevin Conway looking to hold of a challenge from Canadian standout John Farano and the rest of the field.

The North American series, in its second season, will compete at Canadian's crown jewel circuit for the first time. The 10-turn, 2.459-mile track is one of the most historic circuits in Canada and will be the only Canadian destination for the series this season.

Two 50-minute races are scheduled for competitors in the incredible Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo cars, which are powered by a 570-horsepower V10 engine and feature permanent four-wheel drive.

Race One is scheduled for 8:55 a.m. (ET) Saturday, July 12, with Race Two following at 10:55 a.m. Sunday, July 13. Both races will be streamed live at http://squadracorse.lamborghini.com/en/live-usa. Practice will take place Thursday, July 10, with qualifying Friday, July 11.

The two rounds at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park continue a busy stretch of action worldwide for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo championship, which continues to reach new levels of success at every round in Europe, North America and Asia.

The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America and Europe competed during the final weekend of June at Watkins Glen International and Circuit Paul Ricard, respectively. The next round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe is July 25-26 at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. The Asian Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo championship resumes Aug. 30-31 at Fuji Speedway in Oyama, Japan.

2013 series champion Conway leads the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America Driver Classification with 70 points entering this weekend. Conway, the driver of the No. 29 Change Racing Gallardo LP 570-4 representing Lamborghini Carolinas, picked up his second win of the season in Round 6 at Watkins Glen International.

The two rounds at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park are shaping up to be a championship showdown between Conway and Toronto native Farano, the only Canadian driver in the series. Farano took the checkered flag in the first round of the Watkins Glen race weekend and is second in the Driver Classification with 55 points in the No. 63 Jota Corse entry representing Lamborghini Dallas.

A new star in the series also has emerged, 18-year-old Cody Ware. He had two podium finishes at The Glen in his series debut, racing the No. 38 Gallardo LP 580-4 representing Lamborghini Long Island and fielded by his father's team, Rick Ware Racing.

Ware's teammate, Kevin O'Connell, will be in a new car this weekend after his car was damaged heavily in an on-track incident at Watkins Glen. O'Connell, the top amateur driver in the championship, will drive the No. 15 Gallardo representing Lamborghini Toronto.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo car is the ultimate single-make race car and the only four-wheel drive GT racer in the world. The 570-horsepower, V10 Gallardo LP 570-4 features impressive technology such as paddle shift E-gear transmission, Öhlins race shocks, Brembo brakes, a carbon fiber aerodynamic package that includes a rear wing with 10 adjustable positions, MTA data acquisition, air jacks, center wheel locks and more.

Lamborghini and Blancpain will provide world-class hospitality this weekend for clients and guests of Lamborghini dealers in Montreal and Toronto. Guests also can participate in the IMSA Hot Lap Experience, high-speed rides around the Canadian Tire Motorsport circuit in a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4.

The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 will be displayed at Lamborghini Village at the circuit throughout the weekend.
